10 WWE Wrestlers Who Had To Swallow Their Pride
1. Hulk Hogan
You knew it would only be a matter of time before 'The Immortal' Hulk Hogan appeared on this list and there's a reason he's earned the top spot.
In 2015, Hogan had been outed for using racial remarks in a sex tape from 2007 and subsequently found his WWE employment in tatters.
He immediately apologised and released a statement highlighting how his comments were 'unacceptable' and that there was 'no excuse for it'.
Hogan would rightly be blacklisted by the company for three years, before being allowed back through the WWE doors once more. He then took the decision to apologise to the current locker room for his past slurs and reiterated the sentiments that were released in his initial statement.
Hogan is now enjoying a decent run of appearances on WWE programming - most recently building a team for the Team Hogan Vs Team Flair contest at Crown Jewel - yet his presence is still unwanted by some present members of the roster. The New Day even went as far as to say they won't associate with the Hulkster until a 'genuine effort to change' has been made.
Time will tell if he is a changed man, but he definitely had to eat some humble pie in order to start earning a WWE paycheck again.
