10 WWE Wrestlers Who Hated Triple H

Bret 'The Hitman' Hart has never been one to keep himself to himself on the opinion front. You generally know where you stand with Bret, and the Excellence of Execution has saved some of his most biting criticism for Triple H, going on record as calling him a 'mediocre wrestler' on a number of occasions.

Even something as harmless as a computer game rating was enough to rile Hart's ire. When WWE 2K16 came out, Bret was dismayed to see that Hunter had a higher rating than him, and he made his complaints clear on his podcast.

"I like the new one but I have some discrepancies with the game a little bit. I went to a thing last fall when the latest 2K game was coming out. They were telling me how I’m an 85 or something like that and Triple H is a 98. Why would he be a 98?’ They go, ‘Well because he’s the boss and we have to suck up to the boss.’ I don’t know, he was laughing about it, it kind of pissed me off. I thought, ‘I don’t care how many titles Triple H wins, he could never lace my f*cking boots up. Period."

Gee Bret, tell us how you really feel. Truth be told, Hart has a legitimate gripe on the computer game rating front, and many of his comments about Hunter riding the coat-tails of others throughout his career are largely justified. The whole 'Montreal Screwjob' might have something to do with the animosity too, but that is pure conjecture.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
