10 WWE Wrestlers Who Have Been Directionless During The Brand Split
5. Bayley
Bayley's move to the main roster from NXT was long overdue, as she could have been on Raw a year ago with the rest of the Four Horsewomen and wouldn't have felt out of place. But it was more important for her to continue to grow as a performer and give back to NXT's women's division.
Her Raw arrival was virtually perfect. She confronted Charlotte one night removed from her Raw Women's Championship victory versus Sasha Banks on the anniversary of when Bayley won the NXT Women's Championship in that same building exactly one year prior, the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
The crowd came unglued as Bayley was announced by general manager Mick Foley as Team Red's latest acquisition. It was a magical moment that should have led to her getting a one-on-one title opportunity at Clash of Champions (given she beat Charlotte the following week), but instead, it turned into a Triple Threat when Sasha Banks returned and inserted herself back into the picture.
Bayley lost at the event, which was the right move since she shouldn't win the gold until WrestleMania 33 at the earliest, but she has been competing in meaningless matches for the past month. Banks and Charlotte reigniting their rivalry has left Bayley on the outside looking in, potentially headed for a feud with Dana Brooke that could kill time for her.
Regardless, it is slightly disappointing one of the most popular people (male or female) on the Raw roster isn't involved in something more significant at the moment.
