It was apparent from his time in NXT that Triple H was a huge fan of Karrion Kross, pushing the monster to the world title in just a matter of months. During that time, the developmental brand was filled with great in-ring talents like Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, and Johhny Gargano, so in contrast, his technical limitations were cruelly highlighted.

In spite of this clear weakness in his performance, Kross still seems to be a favorite of 'The Game' and has been dominant since returning to WWE in August. His feud with Drew McIntyre has seen the New Yorker enter the orbit of the main event, which he will likely continue to occupy whilst Triple H is in charge.

The visual presentation of Karrion Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux is immaculate, with their entrance being a clear reason why the act could be seen as a superstar one at some point. However, continuing to have the wrestler compete in long, arduous matches just weakens the legitimacy of Kross as a main event prospect.

There is certainly a place for Kross in WWE, but his in-ring limitations must not be exposed in the way they have routinely been shown throughout his run.
