10 WWE Wrestlers Who Have VANISHED From TV
4. Aleister Black
How is it possible for a promotion to f*ck up Aleister Black? He's one of the greatest in-ring grapplers on offer today, complete with a solid character background and physical appearance. Yet, WWE are clueless as to where he belongs.
The former Tommy End hasn't wrestled a match since the 12 October edition of Raw, losing a rather good no disqualifications bout to Kevin Owens to bring an end to their rivalry. Since then, though, Black hasn't even been spotted backstage at television tapings.
While reports have circulated that this could be due to the firing of his real-life wife Zelina Vega a few months ago, it isn't a reasonable excuse for WWE to not be utilising 'The Dutch Destroyer'. Unless his absence is his own choice, Black should be a top-tier talent on the main roster. Instead, he's being chucked off WWE headquarters and having his eyeball stabbed.
Did anyone, literally anyone, predict the former Sumerian Death Squad man to flop when he signed with Vinnie Mac's empire? Surely, we thought, his in-ring work would be enough for him to succeed. He's sadly yet another case of a top indie talent failed by the WWE system.
Of all the people named on this list, Aleister Black would be the top contender of the lot to depart WWE for the competition.
