10 WWE Wrestlers Who Have VANISHED From TV
3. Jessamyn Duke
Remember Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir? They were Shayna Baszler's allies, both on and offscreen. First introduced to us at Evolution all the way back in October 2018, the Four Horsewomen members were thrust into the main event scene down in NXT until 'The Queen of Spades' jumped ship to the main roster. They didn't really do anything of note, but they did exactly what they needed to in the role of Shayna's pals.
Since Baszler was called up, however, they've disappeared entirely, apart from Shafir's participation in both a 23 September Battle Royal, and the inaugural women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. She didn't even team with Duke, though, who had a decent showing on Raw Underground last summer vs. Billie Kay. Instead, Marina was paired with newcomer Zoey Stark.
The women's tag team division could do with a duo of this calibre. The division has struggled for credible tandems since its inception. Had Shafir and Duke been utilised on a more regular basis, they could have brought a rare intensity to the scene.
Duke is now creating UpUpDownDown content for WWE full-time. A fun gig, by the sounds of it, and Fightful's report states she prefers it to wrestling during the pandemic. Either way, she dropped off TV long before the move to empty arenas.
