10 WWE Wrestlers Who Immediately Told You They Were Losing

1. Ric Flair - Any Time He Wore Red

If there's one thing that's true about Ric Flair, it's that he does things his own way.

The Nature Boy is, appropriately, a complete force of nature - one of the most unpredictable entities in wrestling history for better and for worse.

As a 16-time (according to WWE) world champion, Flair wasn't used to losing matches when he was in his prime. However, when he did taste defeat, he made sure to do so in his own imitable style.

It's long been an open secret that the two-time Hall of Famer wore red ring gear when he was going to lose. Famous examples include him dropping the WWE title to Randy Savage at WrestleMania VIII, him putting over Ricky Steamboat at Chi-Town Rumble in 1989, and his loss to Undertaker at WrestleMania X-8.

Imagine how frustrating it must have been to know this fact back in the day. You could never watch a Ric Flair match without knowing the outcome!

He did subvert this expectation from time to time though, most notably in his "retirement" match with Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XXIV where he wore blue but lost anyway.

Trust Ric to be tricky right up until the end.
