10 WWE Wrestlers Who Immediately Told You They Were Losing

7. Kevin Owens - Fastlane 2017

So far in his WWE career, Kevin Owens has been a world champion just once.

After Finn Balor vacated the Universal Championship one night after becoming its inaugural holder Owens won a fatal 4-way match with Triple H's help to get his hands on the big red belt.

He reigned for 188 days until he ran into a brick wall. A 53-year-old brick wall in tiny black trunks.

Owens fought Goldberg for the title at Fastlane 2017 in a match solely designed to move the belt onto Bill for his match with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33. The knowledge of being a transitional champion did not please the Prizefighter, who came out looking like he was about to jump out of a plane with no parachute.

You could interpret Owens' lack of enthusiasm as him selling his fear of Goldberg, but knowing what happened next - that he would be squashed in under thirty seconds - you have to imagine that probably had something to do with why he looked so bummed out.

At least this would be the last time Goldberg defeated a popular star for the Universal Championship on the road to WrestleMania...
