10 WWE Wrestlers Who Just Missed A Grand Slam Championship

5. Batista

Before he was Drax the Destroyer, Batista was one of the biggest stars in WWE for several years in the 2000s.

Batista had memorable feuds with John Cena, Triple H and Undertaker during his time in WWE, amassing six world championships and four tag title reigns. But despite two Royal Rumble wins (in 2005 and 2014), The Animal never won a secondary title in WWE. That’s actually pretty surprising when you consider that many wrestlers have held the Intercontinental or United States Championship after winning a world title.

Even if he were to return to WWE after his disastrous 2014 run, there’s no way Batista would win both secondary titles so it’s pretty safe to say he won’t be adding this to his list of achievements.
