10 WWE Wrestlers Who Just Missed A Grand Slam Championship

6. Rey Mysterio

The biggest shock at the 2018 Royal Rumble had to be Rey Mysterio returning to a WWE ring for the first time in four years.

Mysterio oftentimes is referred to as the littlest big man, a Royal Rumble winner who has never ceased to amaze with how he overcomes his small stature to hang with guys twice or even three times his size. Rey is a multi-time world, Intercontinental and tag team champ in WWE, but he’s never held the United States Championship (or the European title while it was active).

It’s always possible that there could be a second act for Mysterio in WWE, but until then, he’ll remain on the outside looking in at this club.
