10 WWE Wrestlers Who NEED A Big Push After Royal Rumble 2023
1. Otis
WWE's approach to comedy, when it isn't about as funny as a Michael Haneke film - is, while still being incredibly broad, not not amusing.
A development unfolded on Raw this week. One that might actually be WWE funny: Otis is being recruited by Maximum Male Models.
Recruitment angles died a bleak death last year, but this is different. There's even scope here to book an actually good indentured servitude angle from this, one in which Chad Gable loses to mån.sôör, the stipulation of which dictates that Otis must strut his stuff on the catwalk. Fellow Dadley Boy Michael Hamflett had the magnificent idea of Otis - or Øtįß - doing the caterpillar on it.
Otis can fail, in an amusing way, to play the part, and slowly realise at Gable's urging that he's being patronised - after modelling various couture designs on his unique body. Then, they can work a 15 minute match on TV that half of the crowd doesn't care about.
Still, caterpillar on a catwalk, eh?
That's a better skit than anything they did with the 24/7 division.
