10 WWE Wrestlers Who NEED A Big Push After Royal Rumble 2023

2. The Viking Raiders

Provided WWE goes in the direction of the Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn Vs. Usos tag team match, the babyfaces must win.

It's the only outcome that can possibly happen, but the passion driving that result will more than compensate for that. The charged level of emotion is the drama.

Zayn and Owens will need opponents to run through after WrestleMania 39. Even if their Tag Team title win is more about the moment than the reign, they can't lose it too quickly. That would undermine the moment. It's almost crucial at this point that WWE builds a strong heel team to work them over the spring and the summer. This building process must start now so that it doesn't scan as obligatory.

WWE has attempted to build the Viking Raiders, but they aren't particularly over. The look is too stupid, honestly. They are cartoons. The gimmick is too literal and feels short-lived, in that no act like it goes very far.

The Raiders are actually a great team (or were), so it's not impossible. The trick is simple:

Ring up every wrestling school in the area for every upcoming TV taping, request the most pitiful-looking trainees they have (that can adequately protect themselves) and have Erik treat them like he would a small, defenceless animal.
