8. Angel Garza
It feels as though WWE don't know the talent they have at their disposal with Angel Garza.
Garza, formerly known as El Hijo del Ninja, is an excellent competitor who amassed quite the career outside of WWE as a luchador. He comes from a distinguished wrestling family to boot. Garza's time in WWE has not been terrible, he is after all a one-time NXT Cruiserweight Champion and was part of a tandem with Andrade. The past few months since his split with fellow Mexican superstar Andrade he seems to have lost his way.
He suffered an injury back in September at the Clash of Champions and has since begun a new gimmick involving a secret admirer. Angel Garza may be a step ahead of other superstars who need a new start coming into the new year with the new gimmick. There is no guarantee this will be a rewarding persona for Garza, and knowing WWE it could easily end up being disappointing.
After a bittersweet year here's hoping something more meaningful comes Angel's way in 2021.
