10 WWE Wrestlers Who Need A Fresh Start In 2021

It's hard to understand what exactly WWE are trying to accomplish with Lana.

She's not a good in-ring performer yet she has been pushed as a wrestler for months now. The recurring theme of Lana being put through a table on Raw every week wore out quickly. Her alliances with Natalya and Asuka weren't exactly thrilling material either. Somewhat miraculously she earned the right to challenge Asuka for her Raw Women's Championship and became the sole survivor for her team at Survivor Series. Neither of these boons did her any favours. Currently Lana is out of action with a storyline injury and it's anyone's guess as to where WWE take her from here.

She isn't a good wrestler and pushing her as one likely isn't the route to take. Lana has a strong personality and can be an excellent on-screen character, as proven by her years managing real life husband Rusev (AEW's Miro).

Regardless of what role WWE find for her, one can only hope it's befitting of her abilities and something that she as a performer can find satisfying.
