10 WWE Wrestlers Who Need To Be Taught A Lesson (And Who By)
3. Baron Corbin (By Stone Cold Steve Austin)
Lesson: How to be an authority figure.
This lesson could prove to be a tough one to take for a guy not exactly known as easy to work with backstage. Baron has it in him to be a top guy in the company; he's just been booked as a snivelling suck-up for so long that we can't shake that image from our minds.
He could still be an on-screen authority figure and get himself over, with the right teacher.
Baron could use a visit from Stone Cold Steve Austin - not the Rattlesnake, though, but 'The Sheriff'. Austin redefined himself at the end of 2003 when injuries had taken their toll on his body. As the on-screen power, Austin was both entertaining and advocating whilst never losing any of his edge that made him the face of the company. Even with a gimmick as lame as 'The Sheriff', Stone Cold managed to bring gravitas and upheld the law of WWE as he saw fit.
Corbin's mic skills are improving the longer he spends on our screens and, if he fine tunes his character into the frequency of a Sheriff-style anti-hero, we could be looking at a career-defining moment for the man.
