10 WWE Wrestlers Who Never Truly Evolved
5. Brock Lesnar
Lesnar’s persona has certainly been refined over the years. His runs in the UFC have added an air of legitimacy that has only enhanced his character. Meanwhile his move set has become more, let’s say “streamlined,” since he took up permanent residence in Suplex City.
However, neither of these things was exactly a departure. “The Beast Incarnate” has always been presented as a dominant destroyer. He’s the sort of scary, double hard bastard who makes kids tremble and parents feel uneasy while they try to look brave for the little ones.
Right from the start Brock’s been the guy to strike fear into the hearts of his opponents too. He’s the guy who caved in Randy Orton’s skull, who ended the streak, who took down WWE champ Kofi Kingston in seconds. Lesnar can defeat anyone and do anything. Except for a shooting star press ever again.
Even now that rival Roman Reigns is a heel who's taken his advocate away, Brock is still the dominant ass-kicker. Sure, he's now wearing a cowboy hat and sweaters, but don't let those high fives and smiles fool you that Lesnar is a fighting machine who loves money and has little time for people.
