While other superstars have played undead morticians, white rappers and cult leaders, Mike Mizanin has always just been “The Miz.”

The former(and current) reality TV star is charismatic, kinda charming but also sort of obnoxious. Add his undoubted mic skills and affinity for utterly ridiculous hats, jackets and shades and it’s no wonder he’s been getting under people’s skins for over a decade.

Some fans hate him for taking a perceived short cut to wrestling success, others hate the lack of flair in his safe ring style, still more just find his personality overbearing.

That’s not to say he doesn’t have his fans. He’s perfect foil to Daniel Bryan, speaks with a welcome eloquence and was possibly the best Intercontinental Champion of the past decade.

Like him or loath him it’s that personality that shines through, whether playing face or heel and makes him one of WWE’s most vital cogs.
