10 WWE Wrestlers Who Should Ask For Their Release
6. Rich Swann
Enzo already takes enough flak as it is, and we don't want to pile it on even more. But seriously: the fact that he's 205 Live's leading man whilst someone as talented as Rich Swann is limited to only occasional appearances on Raw is nothing short of perverse.
The main obstacle to Swann becoming a WWE star - as he was in promotions like CZW, PWG, and Dragon Gate - seems to be the noticeable apathy that surrounds his currently rather bland wrestling persona.
However, this is the classic Catch-22 situation where a performer is unable to generate fan support without being given the chance to work an interesting storyline, and yet is unable to work an interesting storyline because they have no fan support.
Still in his mid-20s, Swann can probably afford to wait it out a while longer before deciding that his future lies outside of the WWE, but following Neville out the 205 Live exit door must be an idea that has entered his head in recent weeks.
