If you were to ask someone who the face of NXT is, then they might end up saying Johnny Wrestling himself, Johnny Gargano. The man has become ubiquitous with the brand, and while that's great, it should also breed fear for viewers, as the coming changes seem to be following the phrase "out with the old, in with the new".
However, it's not all doom and gloom for Gargano, as he'd have a great home in All Elite Wrestling. There's no doubt they'd want him, as his reputation for being a great worker is well established, and he has a fantastic connection to the crowd, making him one hell of a babyface performer.
It would be disappointing to see Gargano leave the division he has helped carry for the last five years, but the ship he's currently on seems to be sinking, and he's got to look out for number one.
