9. Kushida

The prospect of Kushida in WWE was once a huge cause for celebration, but it didn't take long for the reality of the situation to kick in.

Although the NJPW star is a fantastic in-ring performer and certainly charismatic, his lack of English skills and smaller size were always going to be a ceiling for him in the land of the giants. But some companies are less concerned by such issues.

Seeing this incredible wrestler hop into a DeLorean and make his way to AEW would be incredibly exciting, as his quick-paced style and inventive personality would match up really well with the other members of the roster.

Right now, the rebranding of NXT seems set to change the developmental system and start to ignore guys of his size, so jumping ship before receiving too much damage might be the right idea.

There are many things for Kushida to do in AEW, such as joining a stable, having fun as a singles wrestler, or possibly even starting a cruiserweight division. Now, wouldn't that be something?
