10 WWE Wrestlers Who Should Jump Ship To AEW Next
4. Sami Zayn
The man formerly known as El Generico - who is now more of a shaggy conspiracy nut - hasn't had much to complain about in WWE (out of character, at least).
Sure, he hasn't found much championship gold, but he has been a permanent fixture on the show for years now, performed in some spectacular matches and often gets a solid amount of screen time. Despite this, there's only so much goofiness he can put up with.
Making the jump to AEW wouldn't just be a chance to join a different environment; it would also allow him to step back into being a wrestler. Yes, Zayn does wrestle in WWE, but the company clearly sees him as more of an entertainer than a wrestler, which is a waste of his incredible in-ring skills. Don't forget, he and Nakamura were the ones who started the "fight forever" chant.
Seeing him move to AEW wouldn't put an end to his recent creativity, but it would allow him to get back to doing what he does best - wrestling.
