10 WWE Wrestlers Who Suddenly Vanished

2. Mojo Rawley

There may yet be signs of life for Mojo Rawley - at time of writing, WrestleMania 35 is on the horizon and the former Hype Bro could well be the first to win the Andre The Giant Battle Royal twice. This is presumably not how he imagined his year would pan out though.

January 2019 saw Rawley turn his infuriating personality on himself - a couple of awkwardly-acted mirror promos seemed intent on getting him over as a heel after his initial effort at Zack Ryder's expense profoundly failed.

It isn't the first time WWE have forced a character to turn on themselves to make up for a creative woes, but it's one of the most tragic. Mojo referring to himself as the "greatest combination of size, strength, speed and intelligence that the WWE has ever seen" was a reach and a f*cking half, but the promise to reveal who he "really" was shouldn't have been left broken by yet more creative indifference.

If this reincarnation gets binned as well, he's not only nothing he claimed to be - he's also a liar. No chocolate-looking trophies on WrestleMania kickoffs can undo that.
