10 WWE Wrestlers Who Told You They Were Pissed

1. Mustafa Ali Vents On RAW Talk

Mustafa Ali doesn't give a sh*t about the eggshells environment in WWE.

He famously, publicly wished to leave the company in January 2022. The inference from the story broken by Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp was troubling; purportedly, Vince McMahon had asked Ali to do something he under no circumstances would ever do. Several fans connected some dots here. Ali is on record as saying that he will never again play the stereotypical foreign menace after a young fan at a show reacted to his early indies run schtick in an aggressive, defensive position. Ali didn't want that fan to leave the show with a negative perception of the Indian and Pakistani communities.

This was only ever inferred, it should be noted. Ali attempted to use the #FreeAli hashtag to secure his release, but well before requesting it, he showed no compunction about expressing his frustration.

Speaking on Raw Talk after the January 4, 2021 Legend's Night edition, Ali was seething at the idea that WWE dedicated three hours to hearing Hulk Hogan do his schtick yet again. Ali spoke in the voice of his RETRIBUTION character, but he also very clearly didn't; when Charly Caruso made the asinine counter-point that the fans in the ThunderDome made lots of noise, Ali was beyond incredulous. Tellingly, when talking about Hogan in particular, the full whites of his eyes were visible in bulging fury.

"They can barely walk," Ali said twice of the "Legends". The second time, he was almost in despair. These weren't older fellows who still knew the dark arts.

They were ancient.
