4. Rusev Wonders What More He Can Do

Rusev actually did ask what more he could to get over when appearing on the Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia.

Garcia has a gift; something about her sweet nature encourages her guests to really open up. Rusev and Lana, speaking in February 2019, bemoaned their fate in WWE.

For no apparent worthwhile reason, The Rusev Day unit of Rusev, Lana and Aiden English had been dissolved the prior year. It was inevitable that English would fade into irrelevance and that fans would lose the will to get behind Rusev. There'd be no point, and indeed there wasn't. Rusev was resigned to this too. "We're way past [Rusev Day] at this point," he said. "We gotta move on."

It didn't matter that act was audibly very over in arenas, or that it made the promotion money (!) through its merchandise. Vince didn't get it, he thought the audience was patronising Rusev, and that was that. "I don't know what is holding me back, to be honest. I really, really don't," Rusev continued. It was a sobering listen, but his ending was a happy one.

Turns out, to get over, Miro at times only need literally 30 seconds of a pre-tape to bark a killer action movie-tier threat and become one of the most universally praised acts in the most critically revered promotion of the century.
