10 WWE Wrestlers Who Tried To Kill Roman Reigns

7. Shane McMahon

Whodunnit Roman Reigns

It doesn’t matter that Shane McMahon already has a match pencilled for SummerSlam opposite Kevin Owens; the whole angle is predicated on the middle-aged stuntman’s voracious appetite for the spotlight, and nothing would draw attention quite like literally killing Roman Reigns.

Of course, it does absolutely nothing to further Reigns' beef with Samoa Joe, and would quite depressingly instigate another Roman vs. The McMahons angle coming out of it. But such considerations are forcibly defenestrated when it comes to wrestling’s first family. Want some major heel heat before being brayed by 2019’s Steve Austin expy? Chuck a scaffold on the company’s de facto top babyface. Why not?

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
