10 WWE Wrestlers Who Were As Frustrated As The Fans

6. Cesaro

As of 2021, 'The Swiss Superman' finds himself either on the cusp of a significant push on SmackDown or the cusp of another cusp depending on your optimism, but more on how he spoke on that one later.

Because we've been here before.

In 2016, WWE split Raw and SmackDown back in to separate rosters, but Cesaro wasn't high on either show's list. And when given a few minutes on a WWE Network to talk about that, he let everybody know.

He was p*ssed off to be 17th pick in the 6th round instead of in the top ten, he was p*ssed off to be on Raw instead of SmackDown when the General Managers had made it clear how the blue brand would be more about the wrestling, and he was p*ssed off with yet another "stumbling block" he evidently deemed unfair.

Then, just after he glibly tried to see the "positives" of his situation, it got even better.

Interviewer JoJo tried to get some thoughts on if GM's Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley co-exist, allowing Cesaro to put a bow on his whole promo. "That's part of the problem. I don't really care. Raw needs to be about the Superstars in the ring...it does not need to be the focus." He parlayed that into putting himself over as a talker when permitted to speak.

It all worked too, sort of. A feud with Sheamus begat The Bar, which begat his best run to date. And was perhaps why he had to go over it all again five years later...
