Vince McMahon is often given a tremendous amount of credit for creating stars in the wrestling world. People believe he has a great eye for evaluating talent, and knows who to reward with a big push. However, he’s not always right. Actually, the man gets it wrong quite often.

TNA has built a reputation over the years as being a place where released WWE talent could find a new home. They have been guilty of bringing in a lot of mid-card names from Vince's company, and putting them over their own homegrown talent due to being starstruck. Other times they seem to have signed big names like Booker T, Scott Hall and Rikishi, who seemed to join for an easy paycheck, and then only delivered the minimal amount of effort for it.

And yet, sometimes TNA does a better job of pushing former WWE talent than Vince ever did. It’s actually happened on quite a few occasions! While overall their company has struggled to create their own identity, individual wrestlers are still able to shine in their roles, and make you wonder how they were ever let go in the first place.

Here are the top 10 wrestlers who were better in TNA than WWE.

Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
