10 WWE Wrestlers Who Were Better In TNA

10. Scott Steiner

Scott Steiner’s WWE return was a colossal disaster. There's not much of a debate to be had there. The company made the foolish mistake of bringing him in as a babyface, which wasn’t what made him a top star in WCW. Due to some serious foot problems, he was also very limited in the ring by the time he reached WWE, and he then lost his first feud to HHH. After that he was quickly moved down the card, and paired with Test in a team that had no chemistry together. While out with an injury, the Big Bad Booty Daddy was let go.

Almost two years later he showed up in TNA, and aligned himself with his real-life friend Jeff Jarrett. Steiner went on to have a surprisingly good feud with Samoa Joe now that his foot was healed up, and to his credit, he put the man over clean.

Steiner was also in an entertaining pairing with Petey Williams, and perhaps greatest of all, we saw a lot of his most infamous Scott Steiner-esque promos in TNA. From his amazing math skills, to claiming he slept with 20,000 women, to repeatedly yelling about Team 3D’s “faaaaaaat asses” Steiner was delightfully out of control and entertaining on interviews, something he would have never been allowed to do in WWE.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
