10 WWE Wrestlers Who Were Better In TNA

7. Katie Lea Burchill

WWE's original master plan for Katie Lea Burchill was to engage in an incestuous relationship with her “brother” Paul Burchill. Thankfully, this plan was scrapped, but the company didn’t seem to have a solid back up idea for her. She switched brands a couple of times, but there was never much of a storyline in place for her, and she was relegated largely to competing in meaningless Divas matches before her release.

A few months later, TNA signed her, and gave her a gimmick overhaul. She became Winter, a bit of a crazy, scary, goth woman who was obsessed with Angelina Love. She was absolutely great in the role, and was actually given time in the ring to show her skills. Winter won the Knockouts Title twice, and was one of the featured performers of the division. For some reason, management quickly seemed to give up on her, and she quietly left the company.

It’s a bit of a shame, as for the most part (minus her brainwashing Love for a ridiculously long time) she was an interesting character that should still be employed in one of the major promotions.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
