10 WWE Wrestlers Who Were Better In TNA

4. Bobby Lashley

Bobby Lashley isn’t a very good babyface. He comes across as awkward and uncomfortable in the role, but when he was in WWE, the company saw him as their next Brock Lesnar. It never worked out that way. To be fair, they did try with Lashley, but maybe tried too hard.

They put him on the ECW brand, and had him destroy most of the roster, despite being very mediocre in the ring at the time. He was then inserted into a huge match at WrestleMania 23 when he represented Donald Trump in the battle of the billionaires. After suffering an injury, he left the company and later popped up in TNA. After a couple of short runs, he joined them full-time in 2014, and finally found himself as a character.

After turning heel and joining forces with MVP, Lashley, somehow, someway, became one of the best heels in the business. No joke! He grew into becoming a better wrestler, his promo work improved, and he was booked dominantly in the ring. He is no longer the forced smiling babyface act he was in WWE, and now seems like a legit badass.

The one thing WWE did do better than TNA, though, is not let him wear a headband in the ring.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
