4. Aleister Black

Despite being thrown off the roof of WWE's headquarters (and miraculously surviving), things are still looking good for Aleister Black on RAW. While there were rumours he very nearly ended up winning this year's Royal Rumble, WWE seems to be taking a slow burn approach to his push, ensuring he's someone fans are fully on board with before moving him up the card.

There have been some bumps along his road to the top, but Black has consistently delivered quality matches, and has a cool enough gimmick to get him over with fans in a big way. As the year continues, only a poorly timed injury could halt what feels like an inevitable rise to top Superstar status.

With that in mind, don't be surprised to see him make that transition by the time this year concludes, and while it might be a while before fans are in the building cheering him on, it will be a legit shocker if he's not a hot favourite heading into next year's Rumble. It does feel like there's still something missing (would a heel turn change that?), but with the right foe, Black will excel.
