10 WWE Wrestlers Whose Theme Songs Were The Best Thing About Them

1. Gangrel

Quick, what do Gangrel and The Undertaker have in common?

If you said membership in The Ministry of Darkness, you're wrong. Well, technically you're right, but you're wrong. What really bonds them is that both men have what are among the greatest entrances in WWE history. It's just unfortunate that only one of them has lasted for a quarter of century.

Gangrel's entrance - which was later adapted to include Edge and Christian when the trio became The Brood, then changed back to Gangrel alone when Edge and Christian actually got a push - saw the vampiric star actually rise up from a platform in the stage, surrounded by a ring of fire. If that was too subtle, his theme "Blood" filled in the rest of the blanks, causing nightmares with a whispered opening, then staccato notes, and finally, a terrifying but dance-along-to-able beat.

Gangrel's career wasn't as stellar as his entrance. Both of the teams he managed (after Edge and Christian left, he joined forced with The Hardy Boyz) went on to greater heights, if not greater music. Gangrel tumbled down the card until being released in 2001, reportedly because his shirt came up during a match and Vince McMahon thought he was fat. Frankly, the entrance alone was worth it, and as long as the platform could lift him, he deserved job security.
