10 WWE Wrestlers Whose Theme Songs Were The Best Thing About Them
4. Jesse And Festus
2007 may not have been a golden age for tag team wrestling in WWE, but as far as theme songs go, there were few better. Not only did Deuce 'n' Domino hit the scene, but a pair of potential opponents debuted in the form of Jesse and Festus - and they, too, had their own catchy song.
While briefly billed as The Dalton Boys, cousins Jesse and Festus soon dropped their last name (sense a pattern?), popping up on Smackdown as a hillbilly pairing with an odd idiosyncrasy - the sound of a bell would cause Festus to fly into a violent rage, only calming down when he heard a bell again. Needless to say, it wasn't long before a rival team determined that ringing an unofficial bell just after the ring bell rang would make Festus docile during the bout, leaving the team easy pickings. They didn't last long.
Still, while they were around, they made their entrance to the Jim Johnston-penned "Biscuits and Gravy," a song so memorable that my father sometimes still shouts out the opening line apropos of nothing. The song goes on to detail the country life the cousins enjoyed living, serving as a sort of precursor to Jimmy Wang Yang's equally-good "Gonna Punch Someone Tonight."
Today, Festus is actually doing a lot better, competing as Luke Gallows alongside Karl Anderson - but you know what? I don't know how his music goes.
