7. Shotzi Blackheart

Confidence is infectious. When someone believes in their own abilities without demeaning those of their peers, it is much easier for an audience to put their support in that person. Indecision isn't sexy, after all.

Shotzi Blackheart has been a tour de force since arriving on NXT TV in late 2019. WWE has long been a world of identikit aesthetics and personalities, but such a charge cannot be levied at Blackheart. Her neon green hair can be seen from a mile away, and her compelling energy positively jumps out of the screen. Riding a miniature tank to the ring is also cool as all heck.

Professional wrestling can only thrive by accentuating the way it is different from all other forms of sports and entertainment. Shotzi Blackheart is a great example of all that is tremendous about wrestling; the larger-than-life personality, the shimmering fire, the curiosity and the weirdness. Shotzi has it all, and she also has the confidence to make the most of her qualities.

That Blackheart was able to shine in a hosting role at NXT Halloween Havoc is further proof that she is destined to be a star. How big a star, that remains to be seen.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
