When discussing Randy Orton, age, and SummerSlam, minds immediately wander to SummerSlam 2004, when Orton became the youngest world champion in WWE history at 24-years-old. However, for this entry, we're going back to 2003.

That show was closed out by the second-ever Elimination Chamber match for Triple H's World Heavyweight Championship. One of the participants was Goldberg, who many assumed would win the title but was actually punked out by Trips and his trusty sledgehammer. Another of those participating was an even younger Randy Orton, who was just 23 years 4 months and 23 days old.

Orton was the first man to be pinned by Goldberg, eating a Spear from Bill almost as soon as he entered the ring. Orton lasted thirteen minutes out of nineteen, but luckily for him, his Evolution buddy didn't need his help in retaining the world title. Orton may not have set the world on fire in this match but his appearance in the Chamber does make him the youngest person ever to main event SummerSlam.

Considering Orton's success at the Pay-Per-View over the next few years, it's safe to say this loss did little to harm his promising career.
