Date First WWE Title Won: August 25, 2002

Age: 25 years, 1 month, 13 days

'The Next Big Thing' raced to his intended place atop the pile, winning his first WWE title less than six months after his main roster debut.

Every bit the ultra-talented and untamed beast Paul Heyman trumpeted him as, Brock had torn through any and all competition, even bloodying Hulk Hogan en route to an emphatic victory over The Rock at SummerSlam 2002.

Clean as a sheet, Lesnar dropped 'The Great One' with an F5 to mark what was then the pinnacle of meteoric rise through WWE ranks.

Fans that night had started to turn on Rock, conscious that his stay was another short one thanks to the increasingly regular call of Hollywood. Linking arms with a monstrous new force who at least appeared there for the long haul, the audience afforded Lesnar's brand of destruction and violence vociferous support for the first time in his career. It was in every sense the anointment of a bonafide new headline star.
