Just one month and 10 days older than Emma, Ariya Daivari's WWE journey began only recently with the Cruiserweight Classic and his subsequent arrival on Raw as part of the revamped Cruiserweight Division. Ariya was born on 11 April 1989 in Minnesota, nine days after Hulk Hogan defeated Randy Savage in the main event of WrestleMania V.

It was a 10 year journey to the WWE for Ariya, following in the footsteps of his older brother Shawn Daivari. Interestingly enough, Shawn made his first appearance in WWE at the age of just 19, losing to Tommy Dreamer on an episode of Sunday Night Heat. When Daivari signed his full-time contract with the company in 2005, he was just 21 years old.

Ariya made his debut a year after his brother signed with WWE, and got some top quality training as a result. Whilst it seems as though Ariya will be playing enhancement talent for the foreseeable future, time is on his side.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
