As established with a snapshot look at some hardcore hijinks, the 2001 Rumble was mad. Steve Austin won the thing (thus claiming his third success), Raven took a bowling ball to his private parts, Drew Carey entered as a celeb guest, and Kane went 'El Kabong' on The Honky Tonk Man just because he could. It was a time, people.

Honky was a surprise entrant right before The Rock, and he'd end up trying to charm the Big Red Machine by singing him a little ditty about zombified brothers who burn the house down and leave one permanently scarred. Alright, alright - that defo wasn't the topic of Honky Tonk's Elvis tribute, but Kane was having none of it anyway.

He went Jeff Jarrett on the walking cartoon and smashed Honky's own guitar over his head.

The legend took that shot like a pro. He knew his role on the night, and he performed it admirably. After caving in Honky's skull, Kane turned his attention to Rocky and the rest of the match. His run in the Rumble was far from done.
