If everyone's being frank with themselves, they'd admit that WWE's Greatest Royal Rumble in 2018 was anything but. The souped up 50-wrestler version was a spin off on the established format, and it only took place at all because money men in Saudi Arabia chucked millions at the company. Nobody needed this "Greatest" claim.

Leave it to a workhorse like Bryan Danielson to make sure he had a good wrestle anyway.

The then-Daniel Bryan indulged in a series of chops with several in the match, but it wasn't until Roderick Strong entered at #34 that things got serious. Strong and Bryan chopped the absolute crap out of one another, and Dan's chest ended up looking like mincemeat. Fans there for the event (the real ones in the stands, not the uninterested royals around ringside) roared their approval.

Afterwards, Bryan cut a spirited promo about his unbelievable one-hour-and-16-minute-long performance. WWE didn't give a toss about Braun Stowman's belt after the show was over, but a certain Dragon took the night very seriously. What a shift he put in.
