100 Greatest WWE Royal Rumble Moments Ever

15. The Three Faces Of Foley (1998)

He may never have won a Royal Rumble in his five attempts - well, seven attempts - but Mick Foley certainly had some memorable moments in that January staple. And moments, plural, is one way to describe the Hardcore Legend’s involvement in the 1998 Rumble.

As Cactus Jack, Foley started that Rumble at #1, joined at #2 by fellow loon Chainsaw Charlie. The two would use steel chairs and trash cans against each other and some of the other entrants in the match, before Charlie sent his tag team partner packing.

But wait, who’s that entering the Royal Rumble at #16 later that night? Why, it’s Mankind, who’d soon eliminate Chainsaw Charlie and then get dumped himself by the Artist Formerly Known as Goldust.

The Micker still wasn’t done, though, for he’d resurface at #27 in his Dude Love guise. Unfortunately, this would be just as unsuccessful as those Cactus Jack and Mankind appearances, with Dude dumped by Faarooq.
