The Baron spread fear across the territories. A standout amateur wrestler and US Army serviceman before entering this wild business, he took on a controversial German character to capitalise on lingering post-war anxieties, sending a gimmick originated by Karl Von Hess and Hans Schmidt to new prominence.

Why They AREN'T In:

The gimmick.

Baron Von Raschke played a Nazi.

The guy drew heat with goose-stepping, swastikas, and other bad fascist things, and there's no way WWE will ever want to be associated with that.
