5. Storyline Of The Year
Considering WWE is all about storylines, they should really have an award acknowledging the journeys wrestlers go on. In 2015, the story of the year was Roman Reigns' rise to the top. It was the one constant from January to December, with a mixture of booked and natural elements. The fact it didn't go to plan is ultimately what made it so much of a stronger story, like all great heroes, he had to overcome adversity. He grafted away to prove people wrong, winning the championship and the fans at the end of the year. In the end, it was reminiscent of Daniel Bryan's old storyline, and the classic Austin / McMahon narrative. Reigns was denied time after time, which made his eventual victory all the sweeter.
