The talent behind the scenes in WWE is vast, with plenty of unsung heroes. However, this year, the winner of this award got plenty of praise - The Game Triple H. His creative vision for NXT was genius, and he combined it with an increasing business acumen that elevated the brand to a touring status. It has became a key draw for the WWE Network and is now looking to establish itself as an arena show. Hunter's creative concept and business strategy is starting to see financial growth in NXT. But really, it is the critical success that Hunter is really getting the credit for. He took the likes of Kevin Owens and Finn Balor under his wing, and he made them legitimate stars. He then allowed the likes of Sasha Banks and Bayley to work matches in a none-WWE style, which ended up producing some of the best matches of the year. This was the year that Triple H really asserted himself as the next Vince McMahon. Winner: Triple H
