Another independent promotion, another group of heels attacking, another shocking lights out return. From sunny California to dreary Glasgow and Scotland's Insane Championship Wrestling in 2014.

Jack Jester had just defended the ICW Championship against Martin Stone in the main event, only for the N.A.K to attack and set up the chance for Chris Renfrew to cash in his Square Go! briefcase.

It all looked lost for Jester, as Renfrew prefaced his cash in by telling Jester that he had no friends left. At that very moment the O2 Arena in Glasgow went pitch black. It turns out that Renfrew was wrong, as out of the darkness appeared none other than Drew Galloway, making his first wrestling appearance after being released by WWE.

Galloway fought off the N.A.K, and Jester lived to fight another day.

Maybe Renfrew was right, however, as Galloway then attacked Jester at the top of the ramp. The prodigal son had returned home, and he wanted gold.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
