DC ComicsThe Dark nature of CM Punk's look and his personality could make him a surprise candidate for playing Batman in the future! He certainly had a strong opinion of Ben Affleck's casting as the Dark Knight in the new DC Cinematic Universe, so we're assuming he thinks he could do a job! Punk tweeted "Imagine if/when he cocks it all up, he'll be responsible for the two worst depictions of two separate superheroes" - relating, of course, to Affleck's previously dismal portrayal of Daredevil back in 2003. That said, it's highly unlikely that Punk could carry the weight of playing Batman in a live action movie - and we do have our Batman already with Affleck contracted for the next few years - so, like Deadpool, it might be a good idea to give Punk a voice role as the Caped Crusader. As much as Punk's martial arts prowess might help with a live action role, as Punk's own opinions prove, there is a huge weight of expectation on any Batman casting and he's just not big enough to pull off a lead role in a Hollywood blockbuster on this scale - but we can certainly imagine lines like "it's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me" being uttered in Punk's voice.
