WrestleMania has always been built around a big weekend of activities, but next year will now be bigger than ever. That's because the recent NXT / SummerSlam / Raw weekend was so successful. For three consecutive nights, WWE sold out the Barclays Center. Furthermore, the NXT and SummerSlam shows made for excellent viewing. As a result, WWE are almost certain to do an NXT Takeover before WrestleMania 32. Given that the Hall Of Fame has the day before Mania slot, that means the Takeover special will be on the Friday. That then gives WWE the opportunity to have four major shows in a row (NXT, Hall Of Fame, WrestleMania, Raw) which would make next year the biggest Mania weekend in history. What started as an experiment with NXT Brooklyn (when they expected to only do 5,000 seats but did 15,000) has turned into a new way of doing business.
