Given that the february PPV traditionally struggles, you'd think WWE would have utilised all the tools at their disposal in making Fastlane 2016 special. But they haven't. They'll be leaving their biggest prop in the back, with no WWE Championship match on the card. Given that Triple H will be there, it wouldn't have been hard to have him throw on his boots and work a match. It would have given his reign a bit more credibility headed into WrestleMania, and would have been a great selling point for subscribers based upon how rare it is to see Triple H in action. It was a mistake for WWE to think Fastlane could be sold on the strength of just a number one contender match. There's no clear co-main event, which is an area Triple H's presence could have really bolstered.
