10. Matt Sydal's Third Eye Overlooks Willie Mack And Rich Swann

Matt Sydal has recently fancied himself an enlightened mentor and had previously attempted to pull Rich Swann under his wing, but his tutelage was refused. Instead, Sydal’s third eye teachings have now fallen upon Ethan Page; meanwhile, Swann announced that Willie Mack — Lucha Underground star and recent NWA Worlds Championship contender — would fight by his side.

The match saw Sydal gain an early advantage after blasting Swann with a chair from underneath the ring, but Willie Mack quickly retaliated with a dive off the apron. Back inside, Sydal head-scissored rich off the top rope, but amazingly, the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion landed on Page's shoulders, hitting a Hurricanrana of his own. After Page accidentally Sydal, he was dropped with a cutter and a Pheonix splash by Swann for the win.

Sydal has bragged about his “third eye” outlook, but his abilities as a leader were shaky at best on Sunday. Instead, Rich showed his unparalleled ability, while Willie Mack was equally impressive in his debut. Fans will be seeing more of Mack in the future, and the ongoing rivalry between Swann and Sydal will likely continue through the rest of 2018.
