7. Tommy Dreamer Comes To Eddie Edwards' Aid

When Moose attempted to wrest away Austin Aries’ Impact title at Slammiversary, it seemed that Eddie Edwards was finally going to gain an ally in his ongoing battle with Aries and Killer Kross. Instead, Moose shockingly aligned himself with the champion's crew, and on Sunday, Edwards was set to face-off with his former best friend. Unfortunately, the match quickly ended in a disqualification when Kross attacked Eddie at ringside.

However, Edwards found backup in a former rival when Tommy Dreamer made the surprise save. The two then began an impromptu tag team match against Moose and Kross with the bout quickly devolving into a brawl. The NFL’s Jylan Ware even got involved by shoving Moose. The former ECW Champion then took control but was eventually laid out by Kross. Edwards subsequently ducked Moose's wild kendo stick shot before rolling him up for the sudden win.

Though Dreamer initially stopped the two-on-one assault, after the bout a dissatisfied Moose and Kross retaliated against Edwards by powerbombing him onto the ring apron. Seemingly, the rivalry between former friends is far from over, and with Eddie's turn toward the deranged in recent months, he will likely seek retribution on Moose.
