Zack Gowen was the infamous one-legged wrestler signed by Johnny Ace in the early 2000s. Though his career was relatively short, it served as a popular inspirational story for fans around the world. Zack had a dream of becoming a wrestler, but lost his leg to cancer at age 8, and had to wear a prosthetic leg instead. This, of course, begged the question, €˜how could a one-legged man become a wrestler?€™ To the surprise of many, Gowen actually wrestled very well with only one leg, performing various aerial maneuvers with only his right leg. This true underdog story reached its pinnacle when Zack Gowen teamed with Stephanie McMahon to take on the Big Show in €˜the real Handicap match€™ (because WWE just loves their puns). Gowen did his best to fight off the Big Show, despite having only one leg.
